Catherine W. Johnson

Catherine has over 35 years of experience as an environmental attorney, representing a wide range of businesses, including publicly traded and privately owned manufacturing, industrial, and real estate companies in a variety of compliance and litigation matters. She has represented several of her current clients, including a publicly traded S&P 500 company and the Port of Oakland for over 20 years.
Catherine served as an equity partner with two leading Bay Area law firms before founding Environmental General Counsel PC (EGC) and EPR Group Consulting. EGC is a California environmental law firm, which includes an extended producer responsibility (EPR) packaging and Proposition 65 practice. She created EPR Group to provide strategic and cost effective multidisciplinary support for the EPR packaging programs on a nationwide basis. Through EGC, she is a member of the National Stewardship Action Council's (NSAC) SB 54 Working Group Committee.

Catherine is on the Advisory Boards of Proposition 65 Clearinghouse News and of the Executive Committee of the Bar Association of San Francisco's Environmental Section.
Catherine graduated from Smith College and the University of Virginia School of Law.
