Julia has over 12 years of experience as an environmental attorney and holds a graduate degree in biochemistry.  Julia previously served as an attorney in the United States Department of Justice (DOJ), Natural Resources Division, for over nine years, where she was awarded DOJ's highest award, the Special Achievement Award.

 

At EPR Group, she tracks EPR packaging developments across the country with a special focus on recycling and compostability definitions in each state.

 

Julia graduated from Berkeley Law School (formerly Boalt Hall), holds a PhD in biochemistry from Johns Hopkins University, and served as a post-doctoral fellow in the Chemistry Department at the University of California, Berkeley.
