Our signature product, the PPE, provides producers with essential clarity about which packaging and other covered materials they are responsible for in each state, allowing for accurate and targeted data input into any analytical system. With the PPE, you ensure that critical institutional knowledge about your company's obligations is readily available over time and across multiple departments.
Producer Obligation Matrix (POM) and POM Report
Why pay fees for materials your company isn't responsible for as a producer? Building off the PPE, the POM graphically identifies your company's obligation or non-obligation per material group per sales pathway per state within your company’s portfolio. The POM Report includes links to state covered materials lists, CAA guidance for reporting data, and instructions on how to use the POM to report supply data.
Initial Compliance Plan
The Initial Compliance Plan will serve as a brief preliminary reference source for a quick review of program planning requirements. The Plan should be supplemented and modified as other deadline requirements become more imminent.
Timeline for Compliance Deadlines
To help you track registration and reporting deadlines, the Timeline identifies both the PRO requirements for compliance and statutory and regulatory timelines for all the state programs.
Fee Optimization Roadmap
The Fee Optimization Roadmap provides tips for fee optimization strategies. You can select a packaging component of your choice as a case study for discussion of potentially applicable eco-modulated fee factors, the different approaches to fee factors among different states, and the possible documentation that may be required to claim credit or avoid a malus fee. Even with significant uncertainty about eco-modulated fee rate schedules, as it turns out, there are still meaningful things you can do now to minimize fees and/or plan for optimization when fee factors are implemented.

EPR is evolving. So are we. We now offer a semiannual review and update of your EPR Solutions Package on a fixed fee subscription basis. Every six months you will receive an updated version of all five components of the EPR Solution Package, including how new developments under existing program and new state programs apply to your company. Cost-effective and comprehensive. No more worries about how to keep current.

Ongoing Support

Ongoing support is available from EPR Group's professionals on an as-needed basis or on a retainer basis to answer questions as they arise, such as whether a specific packaging component is considered "single use" or whether materials you use are considered food service ware or packaging, or whether they are subject to California's ban on certain extended polystyrene (EPS) materials. We also offer support for responses to queries you may receive from the producer responsibility organization (PRO).
